Formed crimping using tools conforming to MIL-DTL-22520, in particular: M22520/5-01 & M22520/10-01, both with interchangeable die sets.
These tools accept a range of hardened tool steel dies that have a multitude of hexagon sizes for RF coaxial contact applications, specific to RG cable or ferrule size.
The die set is snapped into the retaining mechanism of the crimp tool then snapped out again for a different application, therefore minimising the number of tool frames required.
These crimping tools feature a full cycle ratchet control mechanism that is designed not to release until the crimping cycle has been completed.
